Alexander Perbone stands for fine-art photography that not only depicts places but also makes their atmosphere, light, and emotional impact visible. His works move between Mediterranean lightness, urban aesthetics, iconic travel moments, and a special sensibility for moods, perspectives, and composition. These are images that not only want to be viewed but also shape spaces, evoke memories, and unfold their effect over a long time.
Alexander's love for photography has accompanied him since childhood. Shaped by an early encounter with analog photography and deepened by his studies in communication design, he developed a visual signature that combines design, observation, and emotion. His photographs arise from a precise eye for light, architecture, landscape, and the special feeling of a moment. He is less interested in the obvious than in the quiet tension between place, perception, and memory.
Alexander's photographic world includes series and projects from Mallorca, Italy, California, France, and Germany. His subjects include Sóller, Palma de Mallorca, Port d’Andratx, Port Adriano, Lake Garda, Naples, Pompeii, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, and the wrapped Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Each series is created from an intensive engagement with a place: with its light, its architecture, its colors, its movement, and the atmosphere that only becomes visible when you don't just look, but truly perceive.
A special focus is on Mallorca. In his works around the island, Alexander condenses coastal towns, harbors, landscapes, beach clubs, and Mediterranean lifestyles into a curated visual world. His Mallorca photographs tell of light, vastness, sea, colors, and those moments when a place suddenly becomes more than just a backdrop. They become spaces of memory for people who associate personal stories, longing, or a special way of life with Mallorca.
With his exhibition CONNECTING, Alexander presented a photographic project about connection, perception, and dialogue at THE GUEST in Hanover on March 8, 2026. Mallorca met California, places met emotions, images met personal interpretations. The exhibition created a space where people came together to discuss the impact of photography, memories, and different perspectives. CONNECTING was supported by strong partners such as Lamborghini Hannover, Leica Camera, and WhiteWall, among others.
In addition to his fine-art series, Alexander also works in event, sports, interior, and lifestyle photography. Projects such as the Mallorca Championships, the BOSS OPEN, padel moments with Denise Höfer, the Frauscher Yacht Shooting, the Lobster Club in Portals Nous, a finca in Cala Santanyí, or the Circus Theater Roncalli demonstrate the breadth of his photographic eye. The focus is always on the combination of place, people, atmosphere, and narrative imagery.
Alexander Perbone's fine-art prints are produced as high-quality, durable works and are intended for people who want to not only decorate spaces but also imbue them with meaning, memory, and atmosphere. Whether as a single statement piece, as part of a curated picture wall, or as a visual connection to a special place: each motif carries the idea of making a moment permanently tangible.
Today, Alexander Perbone bundles his photographic work into curated series, editions, and collections. His images are aimed at people who love art, travel, design, and special places – and at everyone who wants to design their home, business premises, or hospitality areas with images that tell more than what is visible at first glance.
