Leica Camera unterstützt meine Vernissage CONNECTING

Leica Camera supports my vernissage CONNECTING

“Californian vibe”. I found the W Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara, California, more than impressive: light, expansiveness, palm trees, road trip feeling. With my Leica, I captured precisely this atmospheric interplay.

This “vibe” is also part of “CONNECTING”, my exhibition where I photographically bring together California and Mallorca: two places, two moods, a shared longing for freedom, closeness, and unforgettable moments. Vernissage details and registration here.

Leica has fascinated me since childhood. My father introduced me to the brand early on. And somehow, that red dot already felt like a promise back then: to see consciously, work precisely, and tell stories concisely.

That's probably why I decided to photograph all my images with a Leica M240 and prime lenses from the 70s. Without excuses, relying solely on vision, timing, and feeling.

I exclusively photograph my subjects with the Summicron-C 40mm f/2 lens (1973–1977) from Leica, the feather-light "Mini M" with a 39mm filter thread, which, despite its compactness, renders images with razor sharpness.

Thank you, Leica, for your trust and support!
